For a gift {Sun Prairie Portrait Photographer}

I absolutely get so much joy when I get requests to take portraits because they want to give it as a gift to someone else. I think pictures are one of the best gifts you can give someone. Can you tell that these two are sisters? They want to give the picture of all of them to their parents for Christmas. Oh BOY have I been neglecting my blog! I have so many clients that are fans on my facebook page that I've been giving sneak peeks on there instead of here. Now I need to play catch up a bit. Ready for a bunch of posts today?

This is a gorgeous couple that are in my small group. They get there pictures taken every year for their anniversary and this is the second year they asked me to do them! This time we headed down to the capital. It was such a blast to do something besides my normal nature outdoor shots!

Hawaiian Paradise Love {Sun Praire Portrait Photographer}

How I missed putting these up earlier, I don't know! When we were on vacation in Hawaii last month, my uncle and his wife (yes uncle, when my mom was pregnant with my sister, my grandma was pregnant with him!) spent their 10 year anniversary in Hawaii too and met up with us. I did some pictures for them so they could remember their amazing anniversary trip.

Adorable Couples

I have been kind of neglecting my blog recently and not putting up my most recent sessions right away. So here is my attempt to catch up a bit. I photographed a two couples a few weeks ago. Both wanted to try to get snowy outdoor pictures, unfortunately the snow came the week after the second session, so no snow for us. Well, even without snow, their pictures turned out fabulous.

Aaron and Christa

I had the opportunity to photograph an old highschool friend and her hubby and pup. This was my first adventure with a dog and what a fun time it was! Instead of jumping around and making funny noises to get a kid's attention, I did it for a dog. But I also had a trick of waving a treat to him. Thanks Aaron and Christa!

Tim and Cindi

Tim and Cindi are a wonderful couple that my Scott and I are friends with. I was so thrilled when they asked me to take pictures for them for their 4th anniversary. They actually got married the day after Scott and I did (but we didn't know each other then). They are such a sweet and adorable couple and I loved capturing their love for each other.

How cute are these two? I loved taking this couple's pictures. You can tell they are so in love.


And here is Kim's family. We did the shoot on their family's land which was just gorgeous.
